Kelly Lee Hickey is a artist, researcher and creative producer, living and working on Larrakia and Arrernte lands. Her practice explores the intersections between people and place through writing, performance, and collaborative and participatory works.

Tender Places was a creative doctoral research project, exploring ecological and social justice, through the settler body, on unceded Arrernte lands.


Kelly-Lee specialises in collaborative design, research and resource development that supports healthy land, healthy communities and healthy futures in the Northern Territory and beyond. Her practice is underpinned by principles of hospitality, care, and a commitment to methods and practices that increase access and depth of engagement in learning, planning and decision making.
